The assessment is an analysis of the vulnerability of individuals, households and businesses engaged in the tourism sector. The key findings show the impact of COVID-19 crisis on Bhutan’s tourism sector is already deep, widespread and cross-cutting. It reveals while the impact of COVID-19 pandemic is hard hitting, the coping capacity of the affected is limited. Another key finding is that there is a strong interest among the respondent in alternative employment to cope with the crisis.
